Board of Directors

Todd Alexander joined the board of directors in 2021 and currently serves on the Finance Committee. Todd earned both his undergraduate degree in Accounting as well as a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University. Todd currently lives in Westborough and is an Executive Vice President with Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates, Inc., a commercial real estate firm based in Worcester.

Sara Allen Abbott joined the board of directors in 2023.  Sara earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from The Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin. She has a professional background in digital media, fundraising and events, and has held leadership positions in the non-profit sector, most notably the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Sara lives in Hingham with her husband and three sons. She is the parent of an LPS student. 

Erin Canon joined the Board of Directors in 2024. Erin earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Babson College and is a senior leader with experience in operations and financial planning and analysis. Currently, Erin is the Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer of Eaton Vance Equity, within Morgan Stanley's Investment Management division. She previously served as VP, Senior Finance Manager focused on Financial Planning and Analysis at Eaton Vance. Prior to that she worked as a Financial Analyst at Pearson Education and, FP&A Analyst at Oliver Wyman.

Stacey Daniels has been on the Board of Directors since 2021 and serves on the Institutional Advancement and Executive Committees. She earned her undergraduate degree from Tufts University and an MBA from Babson College. Stacey is part of the senior leadership team at the Carroll School and lives in Cambridge.

Emily Derr has been a board member since 2019 and currently serves as the Board Chair and on the Executive, Finance, and Institutional Advancement Committees, in addition to the Committee of Trustees. Emily attended Cornell University and earned her degree in Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell Law School. Emily currently lives in Newton and is an Attorney at Alkermes, Inc.

Christopher G. Govey has been a board member since 2020 and currently serves on the Executive and Finance Committees. Chris earned an MBA at Dartmouth College and studied economics at Amherst College. Chris currently lives in Boston and is the Vice President of Great Hill Partners LLP.

Karen Kames has been a board member since 2013 and currently serves on the Committee on Trustees. Karen earned her Childhood Education and Spanish degrees at Connecticut College, her M.Ed at Lesley University and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Learning Disabilities. Karen currently lives in Boston.

Natalie Noonan has been a board member since 2022 and currently serves on the Institutional Advancement Committee.  Natalie earned a BS Neuroscience & Behavioral Biology at Emory University, and a Doctor of Psychology at Georgia school of Professional Psychology.  Natalie currently lives in Newton and is a doctoral level pediatric neuropsychologist at the Center for Pediatric Neurodiversity.

Ted Sharp joined the board directors in 2021 and currently serves on the Trustee Committee. Ted earned his A,B, History from Gettysburg College, Masters of Secondary Education/History from Bridgewater State College, Advanced Graduate Study of Educational Administration from Harvard University and Advanced Graduate Study from Oxford University. Ted currently lives in Maine.

David Stein, Psy.D. joined the board of directors in 2023.  David earned both his undergraduate and Doctor of Psychology degrees in Clinical Psychology.  Through Harvard Medical School, he has completed an APA-Accredited Predoctoral Internship in Clinical Child and Adult Psychology at The Cambridge Hospital, as well as a Post-Doctoral Fellowship specializing in neuropsychological testing at Boston Children’s Hospital.   David is the Founder and Director of New England Neurodevelopment, LLC, a pediatric assessment practice, in Wellesley, MA.
