If you would like to make your pledge of gift by telephone with your credit card, please call the Development Office at 617-965-0764 ext. 1204.

Please contact your Human Resources Office about eligibility and forms you will need to submit to Learning Prep School. You do not need to include the form with your payment. If you have questions, please contact the Development Office at 617-965-0764 ext. 1204.

Giving a gift of appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds can be to your financial advantage. In most cases, you may claim a charitable income tax deduction for the full fair market value on the shares and avoid capital gains tax. Please consult your financial advisor to clarify the advantages and call Vanessa Craveiro, CFO, at 617-965-0764 ext. 1317 to let us know. Since brokers do not always inform us about a gift, your call will ensure that your donation is transferred and credited correctly.

When you call, please have the following on hand:
Full name of the donor(s)
Name of stock
Number of shares
Date of transfer
Intended use (i.e., family & Friends Fund)
Name and telephone number of your broker

Please note: According to IRS tax code (Regulation 1.170A-1(b)), gifts of securities received will be acknowledged using the mean value of the stock on the day it is received into Learning Prep School's Account.

Close to two-thirds of all Americans have made purchases on Amazon. AmazonSmile is a separate website owned and operated by Amazon that has the same products as their regular website. The only difference between the two sites is when you purchase on AmazonSmile .5% of your purchase goes to your favorite nonprofit of choice. That may not seem like much, but it can add up over time when an entire community like Learning Prep School takes advantage of the offer. All you need to do is save AmazonSmile in your menu bar and add your nonprofit of choice. We hope you choose us as your nonprofit of choice. Learning Prep School is known as Little Peoples School, Inc. on our 501(c)(3) paperwork and as the nonprofit, you should select to support LPS!

Directions to set up your AmazonSmile Account
On your first visit to AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), you are prompted to select a charitable organization from our list of eligible organizations. You can change your selection at any time.

To change your charitable organization
Sign in to smile.amazon.com on your desktop or mobile phone browser.
From your desktop, go to Your Account from the navigation at the top of any page, and then select the option to Change your Charity. Or, from your mobile browser, select Change your Charity from the options at the bottom of the page. Select a new charitable organization to support.

Help Learning Prep School remain healthy for generations to come by making a planned gift. Please contact our Development Department at 617.965.0764 ext. 1206 so that we may include you in our Royal Panther Society, which honors individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to the future of LPS through a bequest, charitable trust, gift annuity, life insurance, or another planning vehicle.

LPS can be included in your will, either by naming a specific bequest or by naming LPS as a remainder beneficiary after specific amounts have been allocated to other beneficiaries. By adding a codicil, you eliminate the need to redraft the will in its entirety. 

Sample language for Estate Planning purposes: "I give, devise and bequeath to the Little Peoples School, Inc ( d.b.a. Learning Prep school), Newton, Massachusetts, the sum of $____ (or ____ percent of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate). This bequest shall be used to benefit the programs and further advance the mission of Little Peoples School, (d.b.a. Learning Prep School)."
