Every student that comes to Learning Prep, is here because of a primary language-based need.
Profiles typically include:
- Specific learning disability (Dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia)
- Language Disorder (Receptive, Expressive, Mixed)
- Communication disorder
Can also include:
- Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Anxiety
- Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Level 1
Typical Affect:
- Wants to do well in school
- Kind
- Naïve
- Presents younger than same-age peers
Profiles LPS cannot support:
- Intellectual disability
- Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Level 2 or 3
- Primary emotional disabilities
