Assistive Technology Tools for Students with Language Based Learning Challenges
By: Carolyn Rasta, Assistive Technology Specialist
Virtual Event via Zoom
Assistive Technology in education is any tool used in the classroom to compensate for, or work around, student challenges. This can be an item, software, or any equipment students use to be successful. The purpose is to make learning equally accessible for all students regardless of their disability. In this event, Carolyn Rasta, MS Ed, will introduce you to helpful Assistive Technology tools for students with language based learning challenges.
Meet the Speaker: Carolyn Rasta, M.S. Ed., has been the Learning Prep School Assistive Technology Specialist since 2013. Prior to attending Simmons College for her Master of Science in Assistive Technology, she worked as an Occupational Therapist in a local public school setting for 10 years.
