Senior gifts

Senior gifts

It’s that time of year when the seniors are preparing to move forward from LPS and onto the next step in their journey. A few years ago a tradition was started for LPS families that choose to participate: to adopt an LPS senior and give them a small send-off gift on their last day of classes. It's been a great success and appreciated by the students and families.

We are actively recruiting 9th, 10th and 11th grade families to participate for this year's seniors. If you wish to participate, you will be assigned a senior (just before or just after April vacation) and given a Thinking Map with their interests. You then purchase a gift, or a few small gifts. Please wrap and label the gifts. If you or your child knows the family of the senior you have been assigned, please keep it a secret! Etsy and Pinterest have a lot of graduation-themed ideas, or ask your child for ideas!

The gifts are due to Amy Davis by Friday May 15. Spending limit is $30.00. There are sixteen seniors this year, so we need 16 volunteer families.

Please contact me if you wish to volunteer and/or with any questions. Let's keep this great tradition going!

Thank you!
