What a day! Our first Fall Fest was a huge success, with 115 attendees joining us for food, games, and plenty of school spirit. We were treated to crisp autumn weather, a little chilly by mid-day but thankfully no rain, and a wonderful turnout of families, students, and staff. It was the largest turnout we’ve had in many years, and the energy on campus was incredible!

We’re excited to share a new opportunity for our 8th grade students — the Future Freshman Experience, taking place on November 6 and 7 at the LPS High School.

Learning Prep School is a “language-based” school. We talk about this all the time. Our teachers are trained in language-based teaching. Our admissions committee discusses how each prospective student we consider could thrive in our language-based program. But what does this mean?

The Parent Advisory Group (PAG) is a group that is open to all LPS parents and staff, focusing on the accomplishments, challenges, and the opportunities attendant to the present and future of LPS.

Last week, we hosted our annual Family Breakfast, and it was such a wonderful morning of connection and community.

What a great week we have had with your students. They are amazing! It can be hard to start back up at school after a long summer break, and we are really proud of how your students succeeded this week.

The end of the school year brings much to celebrate. Last week we held our Eighth Grade Moving On Ceremony, where we celebrated the accomplishments of our amazing eighth graders as they prepare to take the important next step in their academic journeys into high school. Two weeks before that, we gathered to celebrate our Senior class at their Commencement Ceremony. This graduation featured three student speakers, and we conferred three special awards to members of our graduating class. But there has been much more.
