Dear Parents, Friends and Supporters,

In an effort to raise funds for LPS Student Activities, Learning Prep School has chosen the Entertainment 2009 Coupon Book as our first fund raiser of the year. These fabulous/fantastic books are an exceptional/extraordinary value! You have to check them out to believe them, and they are better than ever! We have been selling these books here for many years, as we can easily make over $12,000 for student activities in just two weeks! What a way to start the year!

These unique family savings books feature hundreds of pages worth of discounts with a value of well over $10,000. Our goal is to sell 1600 books this year! Hopefully, we’ll sell even more. You will save up to 50% at your favorite merchants. It’s safe, easy, and there are no door–to-door sales!

1. Each seller will receive a demo book (ON CONSIGNMENT – they are NOT FREE), an order taker, a prize brochure, and a money envelope on Friday, September 12. Every effort will be made to send the appropriate book home as a demo – there are five (5) local editions for us, as we cover many counties in Eastern Mass., Central Mass., Western, Mass, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. If you receive the wrong demo book for your area, please send it in to my attention and the correct one will be sent home immediately. Please remember that this will be a two (2) week sale ONLY! The sale will END on Friday, September 26th.

2. Please examine the books and note your favorite coupons. Then help your child contact your relatives, friends, neighbors and co-workers about saving with Entertainment. Employers might consider these books as Christmas gifts for their employees!!

3. PLEASE return the money envelope with your child’s name, and total number of books ordered (AND DEMO BOOK if unsold) to my attention NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, Sept. 26, 2008. (Please also remember to write as NEATLY as possible to avoid any errors).
Book delivery date will be 1 – 2 weeks after the closing date. (If all orders are in on time, they will get us the books sooner).

*All money (local editions MA, NH & RI are $25 each) MUST be submitted by Fri., Sept. 26th!
*All orders are to be paid in advance.
*All checks should be made out to Learning Prep School. Please place the student seller’s name somewhere on the checks you submit – Thank You!
*All prizes will be awarded after the close of the sale and the completion of the program.
Note: Bonus prizes will be awarded. Each student who participates in this program will be entered into a raffle to win a new 4GB Silver iPod Nano. Just selling ONE (1) book will enter you into the raffle! A special prize will also be awarded to the student or staff person in each building who sells the most books! Top selling students and/or staff will come to Donny’s office to choose their prize from his Incredible Prize Stash, in order of their total sales. Top Selling Homeroom Teachers in each building will receive a $25.00 Visa Gift Card!

These are the perfect holiday gifts for everyone on your list. Entertainment books are available for all over the country (see the out of state order form in your packet). PRICES VARY for certain editions, so please send in the correct amount for each book!!! The five Local editions will be brought home with the student sellers when they arrive. Out of state editions (beyond the local editions) will be mailed directly to whomever you would like. Please fill out the forms completely & neatly so there will be no errors. Thank you.
