Parent involvement at LPS is a crucial and integral part of the success of our program. In the past, the Parent Council (LPPC) has been extremely active in many areas. The following are examples of the group’s achievements and programs that have evolved over the past few years.

  • Enrichment programs, including cultural diversity, science and creative arts
  • Input regarding a variety of activities
  • School spiritwear program
  • Scholarships established for faculty seminars and conferences
  • A social and support network to share information regarding learning disabilities, treatment modalities, therapy services, etc.
  • Scholarships for children to participate in After School Programs
  • Educational seminars for both parents and faculty

Learning Prep School isn’t just a school; it’s a community of learners, educators, parents, family and friends. The mission of the Parent Council is to provide opportunities for parents and families to become involved and active in the LPS community through:

  • Monthly meetings
  • Social events
  • Student directory
  • Newsletter announcements
  • Family events
  • Student centered activities
  • Teacher appreciation activities
  • Parent outreach
  • Fundraising

The success of the Parent Council depends on parent involvement. Together we can continue to build a stronger LPS Community and strengthen our children’s school.
